HealthScape Advisors, a leading healthcare payer consulting firm, announced today that Scott Magit has joined the firm as Partner, bringing three decades of healthcare leadership experience to his role.
A seasoned healthcare executive with specialized expertise in payer and provider operations, provider network strategy, and performance improvement, Magit will be instrumental in helping HealthScape’s clients manage medical cost trends and enable greater affordability of care.

Magit joins HealthScape from Alvarez & Marsal, where he was a leader in the Health Plans and Managed Care Advisory Practice. Prior to that, he served in executive leadership roles at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Rhode Island, and Harvard Pilgrim Health Care.
Magit has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Maine and a Master of Public Administration/Health Administration from Suffolk University. In addition, he has completed executive leadership programs at Harvard Business School and Northwestern University.
