
Dan Delaney is a Managing Partner and co-leads HealthScape Advisors, a Chartis Company. With more than 25 years of experience in the dynamic healthcare industry, Dan advises health plans and specialty health organizations on strategy, growth, and transformation. He also leads strategy, business development, and client engagement efforts for HealthScape and supports these efforts for the broader Chartis enterprise.
He supports clients with strategic and business planning, organic and acquisitive growth, venture development, product and capability innovation, market entry and execution, partnerships, and performance improvement. His expertise spans major market segments, including federal and state government programs (TRICARE, Medicare, Medicaid) as well as commercial markets, both fully insured and self-funded (ASO).
Dan brings deep knowledge in critical business model and operational areas, including provider network and value-based strategies, integrated behavioral health models, care management program design, operating model transformation, corporate development, (partnerships, joint ventures, M&A), vendor evaluation and implementation, and RFP strategy for major government and commercial contracts.
Earlier in his career, Dan worked within Arthur Andersen’s Healthcare Consulting practice and Huron Consulting Group’s Pharmaceutical and Health Plan practice. He earned his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and his bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Notre Dame.
