Consulting Manager

HealthScape is a strategy and management consulting firm committed to advancing the business of healthcare, and we’re looking to expand our team. Managers play an integral role in managing and mentoring our staff, leading our engagements, and providing exceptional outcomes for our clients. Managers are often the day-to-day leads for our engagements and thus are the face of the firm to our clients.

Strong manager candidates are:

  • Passionate about changing healthcare. Our focus on the health care industry provides our teams with the opportunity put their fingerprints on bringing new and innovative solutions that directly impact our clients and their customers.
  • Problem solvers and critical thinkers. At HealthScape each project is unique – our teams are often solving complex and strategic problems with our clients. Managers are able to guide the direction of their teams built off of a hypothesis-driven approach to problem solving. Our managers understand the a balance between behind-the-scenes research and analysis and consultant-to-client communication and engagement to drive solutions addressing our client’s most critical requests.

Successful candidates will have the following qualifications:

  • 6+ years working for a consulting firm or professional services; healthcare experience strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree required. Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field a plus.
  • Experience managing and developing a team of individuals
  • Enthusiasm to continue learning, challenging the team, and enhancing existing strategic solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in ambiguous problems and environments, with an ability to apply frameworks to unstructured challenges
  • Strong project oversight, organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • Genuine interest in and commitment to healthcare
  • Experience in Excel and PowerPoint. Tableau/SQL experience a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Ability to create hypotheses and approaches to valide or refute hypotheses as required

  • Ability and willingness to travel when necessary. Estimated travel is approximately 40% on average throughout the Travel is heavily project specific.
