Will McHugh is a Senior Partner at HealthScape Advisors, a Chartis company, and co-leads the Pharmacy Benefits Innovation practice. He has over 25 years of experience driving the strategic management of all aspects of pharmacy benefit management, improving the positions of health plans and health systems when contracting for PBM and pharmaceutical consulting services.
Will has proven experience in the PBM and pharmacy supply chain industry, covering finance, account management, operations, marketing, and business development, with the ability to build strong, strategic partnerships that deliver in challenging, transforming environments.
Prior to joining HealthScape, Will founded PayerAlly, where he led the firm’s pharmacy strategy and business development initiatives. He also served as Senior Vice President at Solid Benefit Guidance (SBG)/Gallagher Benefit Services, overseeing the pharmacy practice’s health plan segment. In this capacity, he partnered with some of the nation’s largest payers to negotiate PBM agreements and enhance the competitiveness of their pharmacy programs.
Will earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the Florida State University.
