Kerri Tanner, PharmD, is a Partner and Chief Pharmacy Officer at HealthScape Advisors, a Chartis company, and co-leads the Pharmacy Benefits Innovation practice. She has over 25 years of experience driving the strategic management of all aspects of pharmacy benefit management across operations, specialty, and medical management that improve quality and lower costs.
Kerri has the proven ability to build strong, strategic partnerships that execute in challenging, transforming environments with a strategic vision on specialty cost management and cost mitigation surrounding high-cost pharmaceuticals. She is skilled at aligning leadership around aggressive and well-positioned strategies across employers, health plans, and health systems. She is recognized as an industry leader pioneering many programs in pharmacy benefits in her tenure.
Prior to joining HealthScape, Kerri served in multiple progressive executive roles at OptumRx, CatamaranRx, Cigna, and Walgreens, the most recent being the SVP of Specialty Strategy. She is a licensed pharmacist and has served as an advisor for pharmaceutical manufacturers, vendors, and firms across the pharmacy benefits marketplace.
Kerri earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree and her Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Arizona.
